A product that makes our job a great deal easier

QNova is open and accessible for all co-workers at Sweden's public broadcasting service, Sveriges Television AB (SVT), either via SVT's intranet or via Notes (the e-mail application that SVT uses). It is company policy at SVT that all contracts and agreements for shared products and services such as office facilities, IT, consulting services, etc. should be readily available so that everyone knows exactly what applies.

One of the major benefits with QNova is that it makes it possible to restrict access rights for attachments. We do this for a variety of reasons - confidentiality is perhaps the most obvious one - whenever we need to limit the number of readers. We have used the basic functions in the Notes address book to create different groups of co-workers. This makes the administration process much easier: if, for example, a co-worker changes his or her position within the company, all we have to do is to enter the change in the address group. QNova Contract Management takes care of the rest.

QNova Contract Management makes our work easier by giving us a quick answer to questions such as whether we already have a contract with a particular supplier or within certain areas. It gives us quick access to facts relating to the content of and conditions in agreements and appendices. We can file the signed contracts somewhere else and we don't have to spend time sifting through mounds of papers. It also makes it easy for us (for example, by exporting information to Excel) to create overviews of current contracts and agreements, contracts that have been filed, etc.
